The IIMs have extended the deadline for accepting up the CAT 2009 applications in view of the number of bank holidays in the first two weeks of October ( Gandhi Jayanti, Durga Puja, Eid, Dusshera). You can now submit your filled-up CAT forms till October 11th. The same new date is also applicable for the "edit" feature. Axis Bank will accept CAT applications till October 8th.

I Think they have done the right job, there is no point retaking test for the candidate who completed successfully when they are providing window for affected candidates.
Scrapping whole exam would be very inconvinient not only for them but for the candidates also(preparing again, journey, lodging specially for the candidates who are in job or college going)
IDEA OF SCRAPPING WHOLE EXAM IS A BRAIN CHILD OF COACHING AND BLOGGING SITES TO MILK THE MOST OUT OF THIS CHAOS...
